Why SUMMARU

The Name
SUMMARU is named for two Korean words: soom (숨, breath) and maru (마루) — the elevated wooden floor of a traditional Korean home, open to the sky, unhurried.
Maru also means summit: the crest of a mountain, the top of a breath.
Together, they describe the moment breath reaches its peak and the mind finds itself whole.
